MURALS
FIRST & ELM BOUTIQUE
This mural was completed in 2021 for a boutique in Kalama, Washington, with the goal of creating a welcoming, body-positive atmosphere. Designed to complement the small-town retail space, it serves as a visual reminder of confidence, inclusivity, and self-acceptance.
The client requested only line-art body silhouettes and gave me full creative freedom for the rest of the design. This allowed the piece to develop naturally and reflect the boutique's warm, empowering environment.
Painted on an 11' x 17' surface, the mural required 42 hours to complete from start to finish. Its scale and style help transform the boutique into a space where customers feel supported and celebrated.
NURSERY
Completed in 2023 for a nursery, this mural was commissioned by a mother who requested a 1970s-inspired, hippie-style design for her baby girl's room. After presenting this concept, the client was delighted with the final result and felt it captured the warm, nostalgic aesthetic she envisioned.
Painted on a 4' x 9' surface, the mural required a total of 23 hours to complete. The finished piece adds a vibrant, retro touch to the nursery, creating a playful and welcoming atmosphere for the child's space.
WSU VANCOUVER CHILDREN'S LIBRARY
This mural was a collaborative team project that I designed and directed, created with the intention of revitalizing a dull, grey reading area and transforming it into an engaging space that would once again draw children into the library. Working closely with the nursery teachers, we incorporated student participation by inviting the children to create colorful, abstract "blob" artworks to hang from the ceiling. This not only added vibrancy to the room but also helped the children feel personally connected to the transformation of their environment.
The mural spans three walls, with the largest surface measuring 11' x 18'. From planning to final brushstrokes, the project required approximately 20 hours to complete. The final result is a bright, inviting space that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a renewed excitement for reading.
REFLEXIONS ON MAIN ST.
This bathroom mural was completed in 2025 for Reflexions On Main St., a vintage clothing thrift store located in downtown Vancouver, Washington. During my time working there, we aimed to transform the outdated and dim restroom into a brighter, more inviting space that better reflected the store's unique, vibrant character.
The mural was designed to bring color, cleanliness, and personality into an often-overlooked area, helping the bathroom align with the eclectic and expressive atmosphere of the shop. The project required approximately 25 hours to complete, resulting in a refreshed space.
